Visitors who fail to comply with Lazy Turtle Campground & Cabin Rules may be asked to leave without refund for unused nights. Our Policies

Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations more than 14 days prior to arrival will incur a $25 cancellation fee, balance paid will be refunded via original payment method. 


Cancellations within 14 to 8 days of arrival will be charged 1 night stay, balance paid will be refunded via original payment method. 

Cancellations within 7 days of arrival are not refundable.
No refunds will be issued due to weather.


Campsite Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in after 1pm on the day of arrival.

Check-out by 11am on the day of departure.


Cabin Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in after 4 p.m. on the day of arrival.

Check-out by 10 a.m. on the day of departure. Please check for all belongings and log out of any TV apps.


Property Rules

Anyone behaving in an unsafe or destructive manner may be asked to leave without refund.


Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.


Tables

Limit of one (1) picnic table per campsite. Additional tables must be requested for larger gatherings to ensure availability.


Vehicles (Park Staff reserves the right to limit additional vehicles)

Most campsite and cabins have adequate space for 1 vehicle. If more space is needed, please contact park staff to inquire about extra parking. Vehicles must not block the road or adjacent sites. Please park parallel to the road and as close to your camper as possible. If vehicle doesn't leave room, please park in a vacant bunkhouse site along the west side of the property.


 The speed limit is 7 MPH.


Visitors (may be subject to parking restrictions)

Visitors are allowed, but must leave campground by 10pm and are bound by all camp rules and regulations. Registered guest is responsible for conduct of their visitors.


Children

Children under the age of 18 shall be supervised by an adult at all times. Parents are responsible for their children’s safety, behavior and adherence to park rules.


Pets

Pet must be kept on a leash at all times and may not be left unattended at the campsite or cabins. Pets may not be tethered to utility fixtures, picnic tables, trees or fences. Pet waste must be picked up by the owner immediately. Guests agree to keep pets from being noisy, aggressive and causing any annoyance or discomfort to others. We strongly encourage pets to be fully vaccinated and treated with flea and tick repellant prior to arrival. All pets must be current on rabies vaccination, with proof available upon request.


Fire Pits and Grills

Fire pits are located in set positions and may not be moved. Wood is for sale near camp store, including after hours by using cash box. Put fire and all burning embers out before leaving unattended. Personal charcoal and propane grills are permitted. Do not put hot coals in garbage containers. Fireworks are prohibited on the Park premises.


Garbage/Fish

Help us stay clean by depositing all garbage in the dumpsters located throughout the Campground. Please double bag fish remains and place in the dumpsters for removal to prevent strong odors.  Rinse/wipe any table surfaces where fish were cleaned.


After-Hours Assistance/Security

Please report any suspicious or disorderly behavior by phone via text.
